Our client located in Wheeling is looking for an CNC Lathe Machinist for their 1st shift.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts and components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform turning machining operations
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select the appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each job
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes

Types of Machines include Mori-Seiki / Okuma and Nakamura with Fanuc Controls.

Skills:
- Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Competency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
